Tell us about how you contribute currently, and how you would contribute if WMF were to gift a used laptop to you. I am an active contributor to Wikipedia and it’s sister projects like Wikimedia Commons, Wikisource and Wikidata. I have started contributing to Wikipedia since 2018. Presently I am concentrating more on contributing to Tulu Wikipedia and I am a part of emerging Wikipedia of small community.
I have been contributing to Wikipedia using the laptop received in Project Tiger. Because of technical lag unfortunately, laptop stopped working last year and I had to contribute by borrowing someone else laptop. Because of this reason I was unable to contribute for few months . I could have contributed using cell phone . Since, I live in village area there is a huge network issue which is one of the big problem . So it’s better to work in laptops using mobile hotspots which can be atleast be managed to contribute. And in mobiles, I cannot contribute SVG images to Wikimedia Commons which needs Inkscape application to be downloaded in the system. Currently I am contributing to Wiki Loves Women and Folkore 2023 is going on and it is a right time to contribute more articles to Wikipedia. So, in order to continue my contribution to Wikipedia this is the right opportunity that I found. Not only for the active contribution to conduct trainings laptop is a basic necessity which I am lacking.
So hereby I request WMF to understand my problem and gift me a laptop to continue my contribution to Wikimedia and it’s sister projects and help me to uplift Tulu Wikipedia also.

• My global contributions is 19,106.
• Contributed 98 articles to Kannada Wikipedia and 83 articles to Tulu Wikipedia .
• Contributed 400+ images including SVG images to Wikimedia commons.
• Contributed to Lingua Libre project by recording word pronunciations in Kannada.
• Trained students on contributing to Wikipedia and conducted workshops for college students at Alva’s Engineering College , Mijar.
• Had been a part of Wikisource training conducted by CIS at Alva’s College.
• Installed Wikipedia stall at MediaBuzz International Conference held at Alva’s.
• Attended Intensive Personalized Wiki Training at Alva’s.
