Explain your plan
editTell us about how you contribute currently, and how you would contribute if WMF were to gift a used laptop to you. Mostly, I'm a wikievangelist now, running the Freedom of Panorama campaign in Estonia on behalf of Wikimedia Eesti, covering Wikipedia and free culture in the media, negotiating with the artists' associations, GLAMs, and politicians, holding lectures, etc. For writing the articles, I haven't usually bothered to log in during last years. Still, the plan is to continue working on protecting Wikipedia's interest both locally and globally, exchanging experiences with others in Wikimedia movement and trying to coordinate our work.
Affected projects
editAdd the existing Wikimedia projects (Wikipedia, Commons, etc.) and language versions that you seek to impact with this equipment.

Impact
editYou are encouraged to track the impact this equipment has helped you make. This encourages WMF to donate more hardware.
- For most of the time, I have been using my main computer, but as it occasionally has needed a temporary replacement, this one has been rather useful as a backup. I dare say it has enabled me in writing dozens, if not hundreds of Wikipedia articles, uploading and managing hundreds of pictures, not to mention my work on Wikidata and, lately, Wikiquotes, as well as various communication concerning Wikipedia. If all the other donated hardware has been as useful, there is yet a reason for the existence of WMF. --Oop (talk) 15:35, 5 March 2019 (UTC)
