ਮੈਂ 5 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਕੀਪੀਡੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਕੀਸੋਰਸ ਵਿਕੀ ਕੌਮਨਸ 'ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਕੀਸੋਰਸ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਕ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰਗਰਮੀ ਨਾਲ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਫੀ ਹੱਦ ਤੱਕ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਇਆ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਇਨਾਮ ਜਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਕੰਮ ਇਕ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਲੈਪਟੋਪ ਤੋਂ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਪੁਰਾਣਾ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹੈ,ਲਗਭਗ 8 ਸਾਲ ਜਿਸਦੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਕਾਫੀ ਖਰਾਬ ਹੋ ਚੁਕੀ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ਼ ਵਿਕੀ ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਔਖਾ ਹੈ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਜੇਕਰ WMF ਇੱਕ ਸਰਗਰਮ ਯੋਗਦਾਨੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਵਰਤਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਲੈਪਟਾਪ ਤੋਹਫ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਵਿਕੀਮੀਡੀਆ ਕਮਿਊਨਿਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸੰਪਾਦਨ, ਖੋਜ ਅਤੇ ਰੱਖ-ਰਖਾਅ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਲਈ ਇਸਦਾ ਫਾਇਦਾ ਉਠਾਵਾਂਗਾ।
