Growing Local Language Content on Wikipedia (Project Tiger 2.0)/Jury

Wikimedia Foundation and Google in association with CIS-A2K have rolled out Project Tiger 2.0 also known as Growing Local Language Content on Wikipedia (GLOW) which is the second iteration of Project Tiger. This project provides infrastructure support like Chromebooks and Internet Stipends to active and promising Indic Wikimedians. As part of the support, we received 126 applications from Wikimedians seeking Chromebook/Internet support.

In order to decide recipients for Chromebook and Internet stipend, we need a jury. A jury member should be able to evaluate the applications received for hardware support and decide who best deserves the much-needed support.

Interested Wikimedians edit

If you are an experienced wikimedian and want to become a jury member,

  • You should be unbiased
  • You should be able to complete the work in time to avoid further delay of hardware distribution.
  • You should not have applied for support this year

Your username edit

Please add your Wikimedia username and briefly explain why you think you can be a jury member below or you can email the same to tito+glowjury@gmail.com. If you have any doubts you can post on talk page here or send an email to tito+glowjury@gmail.com.
