Questions about your proposal

Dear Mohammed Galib Hasan,

Thank you for this request. I have some questions about your proposal:

• You stated in your proposal that you "can easily arrange an hour workshop." This suggests that you have not yet communicated with the event organizers about your workshop idea. Can you tell us about any communications you have had with the event organizers about giving a presentation?

• We prefer for participation plans to include both a training component during the event, and a plan for follow-up in the wake of the event. Can you tell us more about what kind of training you will provide during this event? Can you tell us more about how you will follow up with participants after the event?

Thanks Marti (WMF) for Your Question I am giving answer following.

At first I have written that I can arrange because I haven't confirm when I applied for Grant. But After Some day the Head of Colombo Conference Committee Confirmed me about My an hour Workshop on "How Wikipedia Contributing in Global Education" they email me with the confirmation of my Workshop in invitation letter and I also forwarded it To WMF.As per program broucher it will be on May 7 after lunch.

I will take a Basic Wikipedia Editing Session under my Workshop. Here I will teach them how to start Editing in Wikipedia. Like many of them don't know how to start editing. So I plan to train them how to Start Editing an article, how to add reference,how to add Picture in Any article under creative commons license. I will just teach them the basic things to write a article.

For follow up. I will create a Facebook chatting Group with the attended audience. Where I can easily know what difficulties they are facing in Editing or What they want to know more. Beside this as many Srilankan Will attend this Conference I will try to add all Srilankan into Srilankan User Group in meta. So they will be in my touch easily.So I can easily follow up them. Hopefully my this conference and the Workshop will be Successful and I can Come out Some positive result for Wikimedia Foundation. Mohammed Galib Hasan (talk) 03:15, 22 April 2017 (UTC)

We recommend that you start planning your outcome now so you are prepared to submit it as part of your report, which is due 14 days after the event. An outcome does not include the materials you prepare to present at the event (though we’d like you to link to those in your report, too), but something that is created during or after the event because of your participation, such as a link to something new that was co-created by you and your fellow participants at the event, a blog post you wrote to share your experience with others after the event, or a learning pattern to teach others something you've learned at the event.

Marti (WMF) Thank you very much for your information i have a request to book my flight ticket as early as the ticket price is rising up, already its about 500$.
