Request not funded

Hello Mohamed Ouda,

Per discussion on the talk page of Ahmed's related request, the committee has decided not to fund your request to attend The 5th International conference for Arabic language. Because of the high cost of the request and the absence of a clear plan for how a second participant would significantly increase the potential outcomes and impact of attendance, we are not confident that the level of participation of a second person justifies the investment. Consequently, we've elected to fund Ahmed at this time, because he has already begun to cultivate a network at this particular event and because he has been the active participant in committee discussion.
