Approval

Hello Edjoerv thank you for submitting a grant request and my apologies for the delay in response. This is a really great project. I was especially interested to learn that:

1. you have already tested the model before applying for the grant
2. you already have a set of volunteers working in the five different cities
3. you have set up a Whatsapp group and have a follow up strategy

Hi WJifar (WMF), and thanks for your response! It's great to know that the grant was approved and that we get to do this change. We're thinking of starting on October 27 this time, and it may last up until December 15. Since we are doing good on our reach out with people, we think it will be easier to get people to attend the events and start new partnerships with Wikimedistas de Ecuador, so we can get better results than expected now that we get the funding. WJifar (WMF) Since we got no response for the new starting date, we are considering the next schedule:

• November 25: Starting in Guayaquil
• December 1: Santo Domingo
• December 8: Quito
• December 15: Portoviejo
• January 12: Cuenca

Also we expect to start printing a promotional banner that will be present in all cities as well as handouts for the meetings in advance, starting either on November 4th (3 weeks in advance) or November 11th (2 weeks in advance).
