Hello Ngozi osadebe and Surplus People team, thank you for submitting this Rapid Grant application. We are glad to learn that you plan to run a series of inclusive training sessions and editathons on Wikimedia projects. I have reviewed your application and have a few questions and requests:

  • The Risk Assessment tool document link is not correct. Please make a copy of the original document and then complete it with your event information. For help walking through this tool, please refer to this demo video.
  • You mentioned that you would have three experienced editors. Could you please provide their Wikimedia usernames?
  • I was unable to find the community notification on the Nigerian User Group Talk page. Could you please correct it?
  • Could you please provide more information about the schedule of planned training sessions? Additionally, what kind of Wikipedia articles do you plan to edit during the editathons? Will you be using the Outreach Dashboard to track participants’ contributions?
  • Honorarium (21) - this expense is ineligible for funding, please remove it from your budget.
  • The total requested budget amounts provided in the Resources section and in the probox (right sidebar) do not match each other. Please fix this discrepancy.

Looking forward to hearing from you. Best regards, DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 11:46, 17 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
