Grants talk:Project/Rapid/Hausa Wikimedians User Group/Hausa wiktionary edit-a-thon
Moved to draft
editHello M-Mustapha, as communicated over email, I have moved your request to draft status, because we will not be approving grants for offline events happening before September 15, 2020 until further notice. This was done with consideration to the recent announcement regarding WMF grants programs' response to concerns about COVID-19. I'm sorry for any disruptions this decision might cause to your planning and activities, but our first priority is the health and safety of you and your Wikimedia community. Take care, DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 13:06, 13 April 2020 (UTC)
Comments from WMF
editHello M-Mustapha, Ammarpad, and Anasskoko, thanks for submitting this Rapid Grant request. I have reviewed it and have two comments:
- Please confirm that you’ll also reach out to potential participants on ha.wiki and user group related pages on Meta.
- How many T-shirts are you planning to offer to workshop facilitators?
Looking forward to your responses. Best regards, DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 08:51, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
- Hi, DSaroyan (WMF), I confirm that we will engage more users through announcement on ha.wiki and our social media handles/groups. We will also make use of a total of 10 T-shirts for facilitators, 5 for each location. I have updated the grant with this number. Thanks. – Ammarpad (talk) 11:07, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
