Hello, modjou; thank you for submitting this grant request and for your patience with our delayed review process. Since your grant application is related to the purchase of equipment, we have the following questions for you:

  1. Can you please tell us what plan you have in place for storing these laptops? Are these laptops going to be installed permanently in a space, or is the idea that they would be taken to different spaces? Where would they be stored when not in use?
  2. How will these laptops be used -- for events, for workshops, as a local library where people can edit Wikipedia on a weekly basis, etc?

Hi MMontes (WMF), Two of these computers will be used by the desktop of the user group on a permanent basis to assist in the drafting of our projects; our documents our reports our search for fundraising...
The other two computers will make shuttles to our various projects (wiki loves women; Education wiki; Glam-wiki;...) to allow participants who do not have a machine to be able to contribute without a problem.
The person responsible for the proper maintenance of our equipment is our logistics manager. Best.Modjou (talk) 17:23, 20 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello, modjou; thank you for your responses. I have follow up questions:

  1. Where will the desktop computers for the user group be stored? Can you please give us more details about how exactly access to these computers will work (hours, procedures needed to use them, etc)?
  2. Can you please link to the account of the logistics manager and/or ask them to chime into this discussion?

We are trying to understand what the plan in place is for these computers. Regards, MMontes (WMF) (talk) 13:51, 28 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello MMontes (WMF),Hoping to understand all your questions. In my previous replies, I explained that the

Regarding the management of equipment, a notebook will be opened to allow each project manager or event organizer wishing to use the computers for their projects to sign a date of publication in the notebook. Once the equipment is back, it will sign an entry date. This will allow us to know where; when and why the equipment was used.
When the equipment will not be used, it will be stored at the headquarters of our user group and monitored by Mouahé. Best Modjou (talk) 16:05, 28 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
modjou, the questions I posed were to have more information about the physical location -- you mention it's at the headquarters of your user group. Is this a shared office space, someone's private residence, etc -- and how will this influence the availability of the two desktop computers? MMontes (WMF) (talk) 16:10, 28 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
MMontes (WMF),Our head office is a shared workspace where our logistics manager works continuously.--Modjou (talk) 16:30, 28 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
Hello modjou, we are getting ready to approve your grant request. Since a lot of time passed between your submission and our review process due to the huge backlog of requests we had, can you please edit the project dates to include new ones, and give a last check to your submission? Thank you, MMontes (WMF) (talk) 12:53, 30 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
