This project is meaningful to the Hausa communities as it will serves paramount goals in aiding using Wikipedia in school assignments since teachers will be involved and get train. This means teachers will be like the bridge builders in between students on how to used it adequately. Projects like such helps in maintaining the goal. Strategic Project edit

I commend the "Wikimedia as an Educational Enhancer for Gender Equality" project, which is aimed at addressing the underrepresentation of women's perspectives and experiences in Wikipedia in the Hausa communities. The project's objectives of promoting gender equality and digital literacy for women through the use of Wikipedia as an educational tool are truly commendable. The project's multifaceted approach, which seeks to increase the representation of women's perspectives and experiences in Wikipedia, promote the participation of women and girls in Wikipedia editing, and challenge gender stereotypes through improved education, is laudable. The project's efforts to identify and address bias in existing articles and creating new articles with a neutral point of view on gender are equally commendable. Moreover, the project's focus on promoting digital literacy for women and supporting them to gain essential digital skills through the use of Wikipedia as a research and learning tool is indeed a significant step towards empowering women and promoting gender equality. I, therefore, strongly endorse the "Wikimedia as an Educational Enhancer for Gender Equality" project, as it will undoubtedly contribute to the promotion of gender equality, diversity, and inclusion in the digital space. This project is a remarkable initiative that is worthy of support. Usmanagm (talk) 20:30, 25 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

  • Please share with us the list of articles related to the gender topic which will be created or improved in this project. (update question 3)

I have made the possible changes as requested on the Flux, also a female representative have been involved so as to aid in achieving the best possible goals. 787IYO (talk) 13:31, 15 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
I am part of the Hausa Wikimedia Movement strategy team serving as the Support Officer in charge of discharging several duties to make the community great, the project is communicated to the community through social media handles, discussions pages and lots more, why the budget sometimes deviates from previous local cost is because of the country inflation rates rises constantly which in returns affect prices of commodities to variate, what you will buy at #50 Naira is now almost #100 Naira, also we have added a female representative to the crew as suggested, lastly we will abide by the UCOC regulations to make it possible to achieve the foundation goal of free knowledge to all especially the female genders in countries or region were their education is given minimal considerations. The crew hopefully wishes to deliver the project in good terms so as to strengthen the relationship between kaduna state government and the Wikimedia Foundation in Educational advancements at all levels. Thanks. 787IYO (talk) 14:03, 15 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
