With uploading of high-quality images, videos, and audio files to Wikimedia Commons, editing existing articles on Wikipedia, adding reliable sources as well as references to support information in articles. Strengthen the credibility of Wikipedia

There are people who believe that Wikipedia has inherent shortcomings however by executing this project, the participants will understand the need for verifiability in Wikipedia articles and see how Information are supported by reliable sources to verify the claims made in the articles. Project significance and long-term viability

Keana is the largest populated city of Alago tribe in Nigeria and I find the strategic location of the project captivating. The project will go a long way to enlighten the populace about Wikimedia projects, encourage them to contribute in terms of local history, cultural practices, landmarks, and notable personalities in Keana that are not adequately represented on Wikipedia by using edit-a-thon. Bridging Knowledge Gap

Keana, an ancient community in Nigeria, is graced with diverse historical heritages. It is essential to cultivate knowledge and awareness among intellectual and academic groups, such as the National Youth Service Corps. This will serve to bridge the existing gaps in content regarding Keana's local history, cultural practices, landmarks, and noteworthy individuals, which are currently lacking sufficient representation on Wikipedia. Not Funded

Hello Taoheedah, thank you for applying for the rapid fund grant. We reviewed and decided not to fund this application at this time. To effectively implement this project, it is important that the team is able to demonstrate various skills needed to deliver on a project such as this. It might be beneficial for the team to spend time supporting other clearly defined projects to achieve success, and by doing so build the necessary skills for developing and implementing impactful projects in future.
