Thank you for your message to me about the rapid fund grant for the Wiki Loves Earth 2023 in Burundi.

There are no anticipated potential risks for the project. The project is planned to begin from July the 1st, 2023 and end the 31 July 2023, thank you for asking.

The amount approved being 5,634,100 BIF (2,735 USD), I would like to point out that the provided account don’t receive money in BIF, you would better confirm to send the money in USD, thus 2,735 USD.

We have experienced a case when a transaction were done from the WMF in BIF and has been returned back to the WMF so to reinitiate the transaction in USD.
