Hello Husseyn Issa, thanks for submitting this grant request. The WikiForHumanRights review team has reviewed your grant request and here is our feedback.

This proposal is clear and well-aligned. It outlines strategies that effectively raise awareness, understanding, and engagement in human rights and sustainability for the Tanzanian community. The community collaboration you've established with diverse Wikimedia communities in Tanzania is impressive. Partnerships with the global WikiEducation Initiative, Wikimedians of Tabora, Wikimedia Community Kilimanjaro, and Wikimedia Community User Group Tanzania demonstrate a strong network.

Building on past success is appreciated. Sharing previous work on Wiktionary, focusing on climate change and environmental terms in Swahili, with local schools, an environmental NGO, and community organizations, ensures the valuable knowledge continues to be disseminated. Leveraging the new event registration tool for on-wiki participation is a wonderful initiative. This innovative approach streamlines participation and fosters a more engaged online community.

We made a decision to fully fund this grant request in the amount of 12,200,000 TZS (4760.43 USD). We wish you all the best with your upcoming project! Best regards, --DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 08:12, 7 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
