There are many young people here. many of them have not started university education. • Lack of capacity: The applicant or the team did not show sufficient capacity on target Wikimedia projects to run the project. We recommend gaining more experience on Wikimedia projects as a contributor and trainer.
• Budget alignment: Project impact is not aligned with the requested budget.
• Youth safety: It is required to have a youth safety policy in place, when the proposal indicates direct contact with children or youth.
• We highly recommend you to reach out and coordinate with Wikimedia Nigeria User Group to collaborate together as they will be glad to support the project. You may also consider applying for their microgrant program.
