Hello ~aanzx, thanks for submitting this Rapid Fund request. The South Asia funds regional team has reviewed your application and we have the following comments and requests:

Main proposal:

• We appreciate your efforts to improve content on Kannada Wikipedia by organizing a series of editathons.
• However, we think that details of activities organized and events are missing. Could you please provide more details about the planned editathons and how you will organize them? (question 7)
• We would like to learn more about your organizing experience, especially because you mentioned that you are the only person in the team. Since you mentioned that you would receive remuneration, please provide for which specific activities you will receive it. Additionally, are you planning to collaborate with experienced Kannada Wikipedia editors for online workshops and editathon? (question 8)
• Did you discuss the proposal with your community members or groups in any other ways? We request that relevant communities are aware, discuss, and endorse the projects before you organize them. (question 11)
• What strategy will you use to encourage the participants to edit after completion of the editathons? (question 7)
• You mentioned that there would be jury members. What would be criteria for appointing juries? (question 7)
• How will you measure the long-term impact of this event on the Kannada Wikipedia community? (question 7)
• How will you select those who will receive internet support? (question 7)

Budget

• While we support prizes and swags for jury members, we will not support remuneration for them. Please remove remuneration for jury members from the budget and update the requested amounts. (detailed budget, questions 21 & 22)

Hello @~aanzx, I'm sorry to hear about it. Did you consider running the editathons maybe with a smaller scale? I don't really want to withdraw the application because it went so far in the review process. However, if your decision is final, I will withdraw it after your confirmation.
