Hello Anuary Rajabu, thank you for your submission of a grant application for Community engagement activities in the Wikimedians of Tabora 2.0. After reviewing your application, we have decided to not fund your Rapid Fund request. Here are the main reasons for our decision:

  • The main goal of this proposal is capacity building of the active community members in the Wikimedians of Tabora group. After checking the contributions of some of the members listed in the members' list, we found out that most of the members do not have recent active contributions on wiki. In the organizing team too, only the main applicant has recent active contribution history. Another trainer listed does not have sufficient contribution history on wiki.
If the main goal of the proposal is capacity building of active and existing community members, the application should demonstrate the existence of an active editing community.
  • Most of the proposal seems to be generated through AI chatbots.
