Not Funded edit

Hello Onyinyeonuoha, thank you for applying for a Rapid Grant. After reviewing your application, we have decided not to fund this project at this time and welcome the team to resubmit an application in the next round. Here are a few comments and feedback to help strengthen your proposal.

  • The project focus is unique in itself, and for that reason, commendations to the team for taking on this focus.
  • To achieve the set objectives, the project team will need to strengthen the plan to account for the foreseeable barriers. For example, the content curated would potentially have challenges meeting the notability criteria. For this reason, consider that Wikisource might potentially be a more feasible channel for this project. Still in relation to barriers and challenges, what risks are associated with this project, and how does the team aim to mitigate that?
  • A few budget adjustments are also important. For instance clarity regarding the cost of travel for organisers. It is unclear why the budget is so high. In addition the costs associated with the printing of roll-up banners and generators could also be adjusted.

Okay, we will learn about wiki source and revert. I love that because it is transcription- this will make the work easier. Onyinyeonuoha (talk) 09:18, 28 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
