Grants talk:PEG/WM CZ/Mediagrant II/Report/2015-01

Hi Packa and Cheva, thank you for submitting this interim report. Our understanding is that this report covers the period of January - June 2015. Additional funding was approved in August 2015 and the project ended in December 2015, so there will be a final report submitted at the end of February 2016. Please let us know if this is a misunderstanding.
- It is remarkable that 7 of the 20 participants were new - how are you getting new people involved? Have the new participants continued to contribute to projects after completing their trips?
- How many people participated in the project, both going on trips, organizing the project online, and in the workshops?
- We are glad to hear that changing the rules to allow participants to cover multiple topics in one journey has made the project more cost-effective. This seems like a good practice to share with other communities doing similar projects.
- Using topic maps to help participants plan journeys is a great idea - who creates and maintains the maps?
- What were the most common issues with quality? Have you made any changes to workshops or guidelines that have led to improvements in image quality?
Your chapter has clearly learned a lot over the course of this project and we look forward to reading the final report and working with you to share what you have learned with other communities. Cheers, --KHarold (WMF) (talk) 21:23, 5 February 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Kacie, for now only a short message: You are right, this a report for the period of January - June 2015. Mediagrant has successfully ended in December 2015 and we are now preparing the final report. Our answers to your other question you will find in our final report or we will replay you later (the final report is the most important thing for us now :-) Cheers --Packa (talk) 23:15, 14 February 2016 (UTC)
