So are you saying that we should fork Wikipedia and create a wiki that only women can edit, and that is shown with Wikipedia pages? Do you realize that most women have no problem working with men? Are you aware how fast that's going to become troll and vandal bait? Will women be unable to edit normal Wikipedia? I think this is a poor idea. Origamite (talk) 17:47, 5 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

This could create a lot of antifemale sentiment edit

As well as pretty much looking like a giant cake to trolls, this has other issues such as how can you verify if a user is female? But the biggest problem is you'l basically get a decent article then a thirdrate article (due to the lower number of editors and less time to develop them). This could, in a lot of people's eyes, make female editors pretty much a joke. Halfhat (talk) 11:53, 6 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Fueling the fire edit

I don't see in any way that this would help Wikipedia's gender gap. If a female only project were created women would leave Wikipedia, that's not at all what we want. The new project would become a troll magnet from day 1 and probably would not be as active as the "regular" wiki and eventually die off except for a few tireless contributors in a manner similar to Citizendium.
