I would not have made my first edit or any subsequent edits if this idea had been implemented when I first considered beginning to contribute. I think it is a bad idea. Sminthopsis84 (talk) 07:33, 5 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Whenever anyone edits? So if I undo vandalism on a featured article, I have to stop and answer a survey beforehand? I don't like this idea. Origamite (talk) 17:42, 5 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

I always imagined that one day we will have a profile that we can edit in order to add some information like gender or language we speak or active projects we might be interested... just tipping a box, that would be useful... there is something similar on many other on-line platforms, so it something we should be able to manage here as well... but I would not encourage posing direct "questions" after the first edit. I see it more like an option that advanced users should discover after a while. And even when I proposed that or something similar, or I just talked about this possibility in the future, reactions were very cold. BTW, if the idea is more like an advanced interface in the user options where this information or other could be declared, I think it is worth to be developped, but I would avoid direct targeting after the first edit.--Alexmar983 (talk) 22:38, 19 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
