Grants talk:APG/Proposals/2015-2016 round 2/The Centre for Internet and Society
I'm pretty new to Wikipedia, and when I clicked on "discussion page" for the APG/Proposals/2015-2016 round2/The Centre for Internet and Society, it brought me here. if I'm lost and at the wrong spot, I hope someone will let me know and redirect me. My comment on the proposal is that I'm very supportive. We need to make sure that Wikipedia covers other areas besides the U.S., Europe and other developed countries. We also need to make sure that it covers more languages than those of Europe. I think supporting this proposal would represent a step in the right direction. Wikipedia ought to create pages for developing countries, especially those African ones. Their cultures should be respected, but actually now they aren't. For those countries with Internet censorship, wikipedia may help provide domain names that can avoid it.
