  • Pictorial Documentary of Women August meeting in Anambra State is a project aimed at portraying the beautiful Nigerian women during their August meeting, an annual event that gathers women from all walks of life back to their respective native towns. This event will cover the three senatorial zones of Anambra State in areas that have not been covered.

I'll be doing one training with photo uploads of the pictures taken at the events.

2. How have you let relevant Wikimedia communities know about this proposal? You may also provide information about external social media channels you may be using.

We have informed the Community about the project in our WhatsApp group to learn how to add photos to articles. We also informed them on our Discussion page

3. How will you let participants know about the edit-a-thon? In what ways will you be communicating with them?
For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings.

We have a WhatsApp group where our communication officer do let the Network know about the project of the month and also we do announce our upcoming projects in Our meet-ups.

4. Do you have experienced Wikimedia editors to lead/assist the event? Please provide links to the usernames of these individuals. (NOTE: all experienced Wikimedia editors MUST endorse and sign your proposal as proof of availability)

User:Goodymeraj I am experienced and I will lead the Event and will be assisted by User:Akwugo, User:Senator Choko and User: Adakaibe.

5. Do participants have the equipment or skills needed to participate and contribute high quality content? If not, how will you support them?

Yes, participants have their laptops and Phones but I will support them by showing them how to navigate the Wikicommons website.

6. How will you engage participants after the event(s)?

We have WhatsApp group where we normally follow participants up.

7. Is there anything else you want to tell us about this project?

This project is worth it,and will help in training community members and also improving user experiences, as well as encouraging greater participation of new Wikimedians
