Grants:Wikimedia UG Nigeria Grants/Wikimedia User Group Nigeria Community Support Fund/Initiating online presence for Anambra state Ministries, Civil Society Organizations and media
Project summary
editBriefly summarize your project proposal.
Anambra State just like other Nigerian states has so many ministries, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and media teams and organizations too. But funny enough, even in this digital era, a very little percentage of them have an online presence. Many a times, personalities from around the world would want to invest with them and on them, but they can't, because they know nothing about them and can't access them as well. That's the purpose of this grant, to create Wikipedia and Wikidata pages for those Ministries, Civil Society Organizations CSOs and media teams and organizations, giving them the needed presence they deserve in the online space. It will not only add a new face to Anambra as a State, but will also further develop members of the Wikimedia Anambra Network towards carrying out further researches and learning new things in article creation.
