  • This project is aims to increase the visibility and recognition of Hausa women authors on Wikipedia. We tackle challenges like their lack of visibility and the digital divide they face. Our strategy involves creating Wikipedia pages for notable authors, collaborating with the community to gather accurate information, and promoting digital literacy by providing resources to enhance their digital skills and participation on Hausa Wikipedia.

It's a Two days of physical training

Mainly via Hausa Wikipedia Discussion page and Hausa Wikimedia Community WhatsApp Group

3. How will you let participants know about the edit-a-thon? In what ways will you be communicating with them?
For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings.

I will let them know through WhatsApp groupa and phone calls

4. Do you have experienced Wikimedia editors to lead the event? Please provide links to the usernames of these individuals. (NOTE: all experienced Wikimedia editors MUST endorse your proposal as proof of availability)

  2. Food/refreshments (1500×20) - N30,000 for two days, 60,000
  3. Data bundle 1000×20=20,000
  4. T-shirt: 5,000×3=15,000

  6. miscellaneous - N15,000
