Proposed participation

edit

I am an active Wikipedian that are currently creating high quality photographic portraits of artists and notable people for Wikimedia Commons. I have covered events, festivals and concerts in Oslo, Norway, as you can see at Wikimedia Commons. I plan to cover 4-6 musical festivals in the summer of 2016. One of these festivals, Q25, requires travel to Kristiansand and I apply for support to cover travel cost here. The festival has already granted me a photo pass.

Goal and expected impact

edit

As a result of me traveling to the festival, there will be more photographs of musical artists available on Wikimedia Commons and more Wikipedia articles will be illustrated by high quality portraits.

Budget breakdown

edit
  • Travel (round trip train fare from Oslo to Kristiansand): NOK 850
  • Accommodation: NOK 850 per night x 3 nights = NOK 2550

Tore is an outstanding photograph, and I would like to take a look at the quality of the pictures he has taken. Hogne (talk) 12:20, 6 July 2016 (UTC)
