Proposed participation

edit

We both are active Wikimedians and Esperantist. In the past congress (2013) my partner talk about Wiki Loves Monuments in Colombia and the project of do something similar about Esperanto objects around the world. In Medellin exist a group editing Esperanto Wiktionary, we want invite them to the thematic group Esperanto kaj Libera Scio and to the user group Wikimediands of Colombia.

Goal and expected impact

edit

We hope make a stronger contact with the Wiktionarians of Medellin, and make them join us in one or both groups. Also we want recruit people (participants, organizers, judges; Not Wikimedia-related people) for the next Wiki Loves Monuments in Colombia and other events.

In the 20º Colombian Esperanto Congress (Vikivortarmanio is part of this congress) will participate 50-70 persons aprox (Approximately 10 persons from others countries will be present, mainly from Mexico) We want they to know about the Wikimedia projects in the country and in the Esperanto movement. How they can help and give to them the basic skills for editing in a Wikimedia project.
