Option 1: Shared Experience: What is one way you shared something from your experience with your community (either locally or globally), after the event?
Myself with Viswaprabha organized an event in Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit to introduce Wikipedia to Sanskrit Students on 27th July 2018. Link to Sanskrit University Event.
Participated in India Independence day Label-a-thon 2018 and Tried Quick statements tool and made 487 Edits.

Option 3: New Creation: What was one useful outcome that was created at the event for the Wikimedia movement?


  • Met a lot of people from South Asia Working in Different wikis.
  • User:May Hachem93 - Met May Hachem at the airport and we are on same cab to hotel.
  • User:Netha Hussain - Met her at the hotel lobby. Participated in her presentation.
  • User:Reem Al-Kashif - Met her at the presentation with Netha.
  • User:Mike Peel - Met Mike Peel at the Hackathon room. He created the Prettyurl wikidata template in Malayalam Wikipedia.
  • User:Cscott - Met Cscott at Hackathon room. We had a long discussion about creating the Collabpad and Collaborative editing in Wikimedia projects.
  • User:Spiritia - Met Spiritia at the Hotel. I created a facebook page for 100wikidays. Now it is merged with the discussion group in FB.
  • User:NahidSultan - We met outside the hotel and it was a pleasant surprise to meet him. We had a long FB chat about managing edit-a-thon.
  • User:Romaine - Met him at the entrance and have a good discussion about a lot of topics.
  • User:Rogueassasin123 - Met him at the Hackathon room. I was amazed about the Videowiki project. We had a good discussion about the future.
  • User:Shyamal - I met him at the Wiki Conference India 2016 first. I met him here also. We had a group photo.
