I'm a new Wikimedian focused on enriching the Wikimedia Commons with pictures of Albania and other countries. I have been invited to the Hack42 Hackerspace in Arnhem (The Netherlands) where i will be giving a workshop about Wikimedia Commons & a talk about (a) adding articles about Arnhem in SQ Wikipedia (featuring photos from the city) and (b) adding information about Albania in NL Wikipedia (also using photos from the Commons especially from the Wiki Loves Monuments in Albania. The articles in both languages are going to include pictures of monuments and attractions including geolocation information. In a few words during my workshop my focus will be on engaging people to help add info about Albania in NL using images from Wikimedia Commons.

Goal and expected impact

The talk will have the impact of enriching the SQ Wikimedia with monumental pictures of other cities and countries, which will be a work that is going to prolong after my arrival back to Tirana. This related to my participation on Wiki Loves Maps 2018 where we are going to work on adding information about monuments on the SQ Wikimedia.

The outcome of this talk will give the participants to:

• Articles to be created in SQ Wikipedia about Netherlands and more specifically Arnhem
• Articles in NL Wikipedia created about Albania and more specifically Tirana

Budget breakdown

I will be needing the 90 EUR for meals and transport, since all my other expenses like accommodation, and travel are covered by the organizers/me.

• Food and drinks for both days 70EUR
• Transport 20EUR

Other instructions

I would appreciate it if this application is approved on having advanced disbursement. Being a student doesn't allow me to cover all the expenses.
