Proposed participation

I am long term Wikipedia (since 2005) and education program active member in Iran. Given our experience in past year in Iran, I would like to share what have learn with other teachers in Asia and also learn back what they have to offer, I learnt, from WMF Nichole Saad would be there too, I think this is a great opportunity for us to help other teachers in Asia to know about our work. In this conference many educators, learners, policy makers, and researchers are would participate this would give us a unique opportunity to introduce of work and benefits for them.

Goal and expected impact

As a result of my participation I think more teachers and consequently more students and editor would be aware of our work in Wikipedia education program, I would like to introduce Dashboard as new tool to help them. There would be many teachers and scholars from all part of Asia there, we can create regional ties to continue our work in the future. At 12% of the total registered delegates, postgraduate and doctoral students make up the next largest group of attendees, this is very crucial for us in Asia, if they learn about our work, we would have next generation of teachers whom are already familiar with Education program.

• Accommodation: USD 120-140 per night x 5 nights = USD 600-700 USD (depending how advance you book)
• Per Diem: USD 55 x 5 = USD 275 (Including transportation and meals)
• Registration Fee: USD 480.5 (55,000 JPY)
• Visa fee 75 USD
• Total: USD 2830

I would like to foundation to book the flight and hotel for me and possibly pay the registration fee as well.
