We will conduct an online edit-a-thon to create and improve content on quoted companies in Nigeria on wikidata. A lot of the publicly quoted companies on wikidata have few information about them and some of the quoted companies are not on wikidata.

Project Goal edit

I will do 6 online edit-a-thon

3. Do you have experienced Wikimedia editors to lead the event?

I have like

4. Do participants have the equipment or skills needed to participate and contribute high quality content? If not, how will you support them?

Some Participants have laptops and they all have good IT knowledge. Many of them are also experienced wikimedia editors.

Those that don't have laptops will use laptops to be hired. 5. How will you engage participants after the event(s)?

most of the participants are my friends, We will continue to encourage and discuss with each other on social media.

This project will help to increase the information about Nigerian publicly quoted companies in Wikidata.

Again, I have monies not used in my previous projects. they are $30 and $120 adding up to $150. Subject to approval, I apply that this sum be deducted form this project sum

some participants have laptops in their houses. Experienced editors have assured me that they will join in the planning and the execution.
