- The project is to ensure that Ghanaian football related content are contributed on Wikipedia. Despite the fact that Ghana is a football nation or a power house in the game and have chopped lots of success from various levels in FIFA and AFCON Tournaments at the world stage, we are still heavily under represented on Wikipedia thus, Our Legends (Men & Women), Current Players(Men & Women), Football Tournaments, Clubs and other football related issues.

Tell us how you'll carry out your project. What will you and other organizers spend your time doing?
- There would be partnership with some football clubs in Ghana so that we can gather contents in other to have an edit-athon. Thus anytime in a month we would try us much as possible to have an edit-a-thon in other to increase contributions related to football articles.
- With this project I would be doing a lot of travelling around Ghana because I would like to get first hand information and also take pictures of various club activity of football tournaments on match days so that I can contribute them to Wikimedia and it's sister project. Also I would ensure that I visit old player, former coaches and many more who are under represented on Wikipedia to get notable information from them.
- Football is one articles which is very key internationally. This is because journalist use the article to give various statistics, coaches and clubs directors also use this statistics to make judgement on the background of a player when they get access to wiki articles, thus world knowledge is made universal for everybody to access.
- One of the most important activity of Wikimedia project is the contribution made towards women related articles and I believe that contribution would be made towards women football in Ghana. Ghana just hosted the Total Women's African Cup of Nation Tournament and there was a number of contributions made to that tournament on wikipedia . I am looking forward in partnering Wiki Loves Women to support the contribution of articles about women football tournament and players who are not found on the wiki space.
- In doing this I will scale up to write article of African football because it's key for Africa to also be represent through consistent contribution on Wikipedia and it's sister project. I believe if Africa is having more information on football related articles on Wikimedia, sports fanatics would begin to appreciate talent from Africa by partnership with various Wikimedia user groups around Africa would also aid increase in article contribution.
This project is aimed at targeting all football related activity in Ghana and it is going to be annual project.
How will you let others in your community know about your project (please provide links to where relevant communities have been notified of your proposal, and to any other relevant community discussions)? Why are you targeting a specific audience?
- Community members would be informed through the Wikimedia Ghana User Page (facebook, twitter and whatsapp platforms)
What will you have done at the end of your project? How will you follow-up with people that are involved with your project?
- By the end of the project at least more than 100 article would be created for Ghana football and also Africa as a whole on wikipedia and it's sister project
