Learning
editProjects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:
- What worked well?
- Getting a space (venue) closer to the students hostel made it easier for participants because it is at no cost to them.
- Provision of free internet made participants to really want to learn and contribute.
- Provision of refreshment made it possible for participants to relax and attend on the next day.
- What did not work so well?
- Changing of the event venue due to other activities on campus gives a poor turn out on the first day of the event
- Setting up accounts for new users made editing difficult as the IP address was blocked for most of these new users and this affected participant engagement at the event and after.
- What would you do differently next time?
- Will double check if there's other event going before choosing an event date.
- I will request for account creator right to enable create accounts for new editors.
