Learning edit

Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:

  • What worked well?

As the contest's based on social media advertisements - for best visibility with participants.

With the WLA team, we've changed quickly and succesfuly our communication and some contest rules.

As example : we adviced the participants to do not go to take photos without respect the new restrictions of the lockdown of pandemia in algeria,

we ask them to select and upload the photos from their HDD or lap.

The gifts for the jury was highly motivating.

We saved a lot of time by using tickets from e-commerce sites, the winners were able to choose their gifts directly. and it was delivered automatically.

  • What did not work so well?

Unfortunately, all is not well: with the pandemic, we have not been able to organize a closing ceremony or face-to-face workshops.

  • What would you do differently next time?

Whe need to have a professional meeting tools, is for us the priority to the next WLA2021.

And we need to recruite a jury team for one year not for each contest .

for that the experimentation to give them a gift is working well but we neet to increase that to double.
