Goals edit

Did you meet your goals? Are you happy with how the project went?

Yes We successfully meet our goals, what we mentioned in our Grant proposal. With the past experience of WLE 2016 and WLE 2017, We have successfully engaged the existing and new users during the contest timeline. We use the social media platform very well to engage the users from different part of the country. This time we partnered with Nepalese in Photography[1] community group to spread the information about Wiki Loves Earth and it works.

Yes, We are very happy doing this project. Through the beginning, We work hard to achieve our goals. We use our experience to connect more people to the contest and focused to upload more images to Wikimedia Commons. We successfully organized three outreach event for Wiki Loves Earth 2018 in different part of the country.

Learning edit

Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:

  • What worked well?

Team work from the beginning of the competition. Offline conversation with the team members help us to reach the actual target.

  • What did not work so well?

We work according to our plan to reach more users engagement to the competition. We expected more users (Uploaders) and usage of more photos to Wikimedia projects which somehow lacks.

  • What would you do differently next time?

Well, We expect to have a photo edit-a-thon competition after the main WLE events. Next time, we will be focused on getting more quality images to Wikimedia commons.
