Learning edit

Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:

  • What worked well?
    • The partnership with the Nigerian Library Association, Edo State Chapter, was one of the things that enhanced the success of the project as members of the association`s executive committee were involved in the planning and execution of the project. They helped organized the participants and publicized the event using their social media channels such as Whatsapp and Facebook.
    • The participants were eager to learn. This made the training easier to coordinate
    • The training environment was conducive and there were refreshments for the participants. All these contributed significantly to the success of the project.
  • What did not work so well?
    • Poor Network! Poor Network!! Poor Network!!!
    • The issue of IP block, also in some ways, disrupted the flow of things.
  • What would you do differently next time?
    • Experiences have taught me to always plan for alternative power and internet supply.
