This program will be first of it's kind in the Hadejia Emirates as well as Jigawa State. I'm planning to Introduce Wikimedia Projects to Hadejia Emirates and Jigawa State also. This program will help to Promote Wikimedia Projects, Recruit new editors from Jigawa State. Many articles and Wikidata Items about Jigawa State haven't Images, this project will improve Commons with the useful images from Jigawa State. The project aims to make awareness about Wikimedia projects, and The project's main effort is to bring awareness and improve quality articles about Wikimedia projects in Hadejia Emirates and Jigawa state which the aim is to provide them with relevant photos to make them good articles. 1. What is your promotion plan?
You can do a campaign involving billboards or rickshaw announcements to promote a Wikimedia projects, such as Santali Wikipedia, at different places in a city. You can promote an online campaign such as Wiki Loves Monuments on Facebook, Twitter, etc using ads. You can also create gifs/slideshows or other easy to make multimedia files and use them to promote your project on social media.

It will be a 7 days program which me and other Facilitators we will go through all the local governments areas of Hadejia Emirates We're sharing Pamphlet to the people's containing a useful informations about Wikimedia Projects, and taking pictures of important places like separate and distinct kingdoms namely:

  • Kazura
  • Gatarwa
  • Bulangu
  • Kafin Hausa

  • Hadejia
  • Jigawa state
which are needed in Wikipedia and Wikidata and Upload it to Commons. We will visit important places like Emir Palace, District head Palace, Museum, Schools and Colleges. We also have a special radio program about this project on radio station Sawaba Radio 104.9 FM Hadejia, with I and three facilitators to discuss about the Wikimedia projects in this radio station, The program will be after awareness trips and before Workshop. We will open telephone line which audience call and ask questions about Wikimedia projects. This will be for 6 days. The other seven day we will organize a training about Wikimedia Projects in the city of Hadejia, this will focus especially in Wikipedia, Commons and Wikidata. The project is going to be awareness, This project will Increase the number of articles on English Wikipedia, Hausa Wikipedia, Wikimedia commons and  improve existence ones and raise awareness about Wikimedia projects. And Recruit new editors from Hadejia Emirates and Jigawa state. The project will Encourage them to edit Wikimedia projects, and Increase awareness around Wikimedia projects in Hadejia and Jigawa state, and gaining visitors to English Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons, Hausa Wikipedia, Wikidata, and All Wikimedia projects.

I have posted notification in the discussion page of Hausa Wikimedians user Group to notify the community about this project.

3.Do you have any experience in promoting Wikimedia projects either online or offline?
Were you involved in a similar project in the past? Do you have any other experience related to online/offline promotion?

I have a experience in Wikimedia Promotion project. I've participate and Facilitate at Wikipedia Awareness in Kano and Wikipedia Promotion in Daura. I also participated in Wikipedia Awareness Mina online.


4. What is your post-promotion plan?
What do you plan to do after your campaign ends?

I will try to find a way to keep in touch with new users by helping them. The channels will be like Social Media especially WhatsApp or Telegram group or both. I have a experience in Wikimedia Promotion project.
