There are 7 major Hausa cities in Nigeria, this project will include walk to 5 accessible cities of Kano, Zaria, Daura, Jigawa. We are planning on atleast 2 phototowalks in each city.

2. What kind of content will the walks focus on? Why is this topic a priority?

This walk will focus on documenting photos of landmarks and landscapes both natural and artificial as well as recording their actual location using the GPRS Device, and their relative locations.

3. How have you let relevant Wikimedia communities know about this proposal? You are required to provide links to on-wiki pages to inform these communities about your proposed work. Examples of places where this can be done include community discussion pages, affiliate discussion pages, or relevant project talk pages.
You may also provide information about external social media channels you may be using.

For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings.

via direct contact and social media platforms

7. Is there anything else you want to tell us about this project?

Yes, This project will cover photos of many Landmarks in Northern Nigerian, there by providing locations of the landmarks. This project will also introduce photographers to Wikimedia commons and train them on how to contribute to Wikipedia and commons.

  3. Number of photos used on Wikimedia projects 70

What resources do you have? Include information on who is organizing the project, what they will do, and if you will receive support from anywhere else (in-kind donations or additional funding).

I am an amatuer photographer and i work with other professional photographers both on Wikipedia and outside wikis. I aslo participated in the project Photowalk in Five different states of Hausa land, this project spur me to think of a more advanced form of photowalk by adding geographical data to specific landscapes such as coordinates.
