  1. we will raise the awareness about the Wikimedia Commons from the northern states of nigeria
  2. we will add images and audios from different languages about the traditional food from northern nigeria to Wikimedia Commons.
  3. we will improve the Quality of images and audios.
  4. we will recruit new editors to show them how to contribute to Wikimedia Commons.
  5. we will engage existing volunteers to contribute to Wikimedia Commons

1. How many walks/tours will you organize and how many people on each walk?

We are planning to do five PhotoWalks in some of the northern states of nigeria, and walk started by 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm for each day and there will be 3 photographers we walk for

2. What kind of content will the walks focus on? Why is this topic a priority?

The walks will focus on taking high quality images and audios from the northern part of nigeria the activities of Wikimedia Commons
The images and audios would be properly described and photographers would be trained on how to uploaded to Wikimedia Commons and categorized them the certificate of participation would be issued to all participants at the end of event

3. How have you let relevant Wikimedia communities know about this proposal? You are required to provide links to on-wiki pages to inform these communities about your proposed work. Examples of places where this can be done include community discussion pages, affiliate discussion pages, or relevant project talk pages.
You may also provide information about external social media channels you may be using.

4. How will you let participants know about the photowalk? In what ways will you be communicating with them?
For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings.

We will notify our participants via social media platform such as WhatsApp, Telegram and more.

5. What is the plan to ensure images will be used on Wikimedia projects?

Our plan is to organise PhotoWalk in northern states of nigeria (e.g)
  1. Kaduna
  2. Katsina
  3. Kano

6. Do participants have the equipment or skills needed to participate and contribute high quality content? If not, how will you support them?

yes, some of the participants have moderate experience. Therefore, they will give hundred percent and a little welfare support.

7. Is there anything else you want to tell us about this project?

Since we plan to upload at least 500 images and 100 audios related to traditional food of northern Nigeria

I'm a photographer an active Wikipedian contributing mostly to Hausa Wikipedia and English Wikipedia, I'm a presenter An editor in Hausa Wikipedia, Participates in Bibliography and citation of Hausa folklore and i'm a presenter of 1Internet 1Reference in hausa wikipedia.
