Relocation of the 70 hours originally planned for "Implementing a new feature", into the rest of the "Pure development" part. The "Implementing a new feature: shared variables" goal would be removed.

Rationale edit

This request is a direct consequence of two situations. First of all, we investigated the implementation details of the "shared variables" part. The conclusion is that, in order to properly implement it, we would require a schema change to add an additional table to the database. Given that:

Applying schema changes on WMF sites is a lengthy process that requires a noticeable effort from the DBAs, and possibly quite a lot of time;
Without this schema change, we cannot deliver a complete product;
Our project is set to end on February 28th, and further extending the duration might not be possible for us;

I'd like to remove this specific goal from the project, which also means we would end up with 70 (+rounding) unallocated hours.

The second thing is that the progress so far ended up taking more hours than what we budgeted for. In particular, both of us have already spent the full budget (more or less), rounding included. This means that those 70 (+r) hours were already spent as part of the architecture overhaul and the bugfixing part, hence I'd like to formally relocate them as well.
