The Hausa Wikipedia is one of the most prominent language version of Wikipedia visited by thousands of readers in northern part Nigeria, north west to be precise. Only a few people know that Wikipedia exists in some major languages spoken in northern Nigeria. Between 2021 and 2022, the Hausa Wikimedians User Group adopted different strategic approaches to create awareness about the Hausa Wikipedia and recruit native speakers for Hausa Wikipedia.

A workshop, in general, is a gathering in which a group of people with interests, expertise, or professions in a particular field, are actively involved in intensive discussion and research on a specific topic or project. The main objective is to increase the expertise of each individual who attends the event on material related to group work.

Other opinions explain that the concept of a workshop is a form of activity where several professionals in a particular field meet with a group of people from the same background or profession to engage in interactive activities to discuss certain problems.

Wikipedia Workshop activities also usually focus on discussing wikipedia issues that editors face. This program will also teach training to overcome these problems. Every Participant who participated in this program after the two days workshops can certainly develop new knowledge and skills that they can use in editing wikipedia projects. The essence of this our workshop is to train and creat a room for our existing and active editors who had participated in four different wikipedia programs/events previousely organized by three different Hausa wikimedians usergroup experience editors. It will focus on discussions and problems solving. Based on this functions, the workshop's purpose is to provide training to the participants by presenting presenters who are experts in wikipedia projects

2. Describe your main approaches or strategies to achieve these changes and why you think they will be effective.

The approache or strategies to achieve the overhead changes are: Seminars and workshops provide a chance to interact with experts from the specific field. Discussing about the relevant topics of the particular subject, students tend to learn about the latest information and new skills related to the concerned subject. As a result of genuine interest shown by the students to know and learn about the subject, they research about the particular topic with the help of expert guidance and land in their conclusion after a careful investigation, experiment, and simulation. This project will merge different experience editors with different skills and ideas under one roof, where they can learn and improve their Wikipedia writing skills from one another and become more better editors in terms of Creating articles,,polishing existing articles and uploading photos to commons. This Project will also mainly allow the participants to share their insights and thoughts on how to resolve any editing problem, which can offer a fresh perspective when dealing with the writing problems.
