Upon carrying out a survey and also asking community members questions about the usage of Wikidata tools for editing, I have come to realize most of the community members are not actively using(engaging) wiki tools for editing and this is simply because they have no idea about Wikidata tools, how it works and also how to use them to carry out edits.
Tools are important for editing because they provide a systematic and efficient way to review, revise, and improve data. And there are various Wikidata tools, and most of these tools are advanced software with sophisticated algorithms for analyzing and improving Wikidata content. Using these tools can save time and increase productivity, as they can quickly identify gaps that might otherwise go unnoticed and suggest changes that can improve the quality and effectiveness of the content. Additionally, tools can provide consistency in editing, ensuring that the content adheres to established policies, guidelines and follows best practices.
So therefore, the change that I am trying to bring about is to expose community members on tools usage. This, in turn, will lead to enhancing the editing efficiency and effectiveness of community members thereby contributing and improving content quality quickly and accurately.

My targeted participants are members of the Hausa community user group with zero knowledge of Wikidata editing tools nor how it works to be able to train and help them understand just how versatile and powerful Wikidata editing tools can be for accuracy and ease of editing.

- My team will use and observe the general friendly space policy for Wikimedia events through out the project by treating all users equally, regardless of their background, and do not discriminate based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or any other factor. Will use respectful and inclusive language at all times. This means avoiding derogatory terms, slurs, and any language that might be offensive or insensitive to certain groups.
