The change we are about to bring is Wikipedia host more than 1.9million biographies. Less than 20% of those are about woman. With such a large gender gap we are far from reaching our goal of closing knowledge gap which is in hand. As our wiki getting its own side soon this project will help us play our part of bridging gender and knowledge gap by enhanceing content related to women and empowering them to contribute effectively and collaboratively to the Wikipedia project. This project will focus on pertaining to women related issues while identifying areas were information is lacking to balanced representation of all individuals in the digital knowledge landscape. Our plan activities will be in 2 session online and offline session 1 online session will be were we will engage with the participants on online zoom meeting to train them on how to create and improve articles in central kanuri Wikipedia in incubator. 2.offline session. An Edithaton will be organize during the offline session to create and improve woman related articles in central kanuri Wikipedia as there are few articles related to woman biography in central kanuri Wikipedia. Also we will add the participants to our community Whatsapp group to monitor and keep motivating them to keep contributing to Wikipedia sister project in general.

The idea came up in our community watsapp group after we completed our campaign on vital articles in central kanuri Wikipedia in incubator we have noticed that there are very few articles related to women in central kanuri Wikipedia. And all our members agreed and are willing to give there contribution to bridge this content gap.
