The change we are striving to bring through this project is twofold:

 1.)  Enhanced Educational Opportunities: Our primary goal is to empower teens in the Suleja Axis of Nigeria by providing them with access to an encyclopedia that enriches their understanding of high school education topics. Many students in this community face challenges related to limited access to educational resources and opportunities for academic enrichment. By introducing them to a comprehensive and accessible encyclopedia, we aim to bridge this gap and empower students to expand their knowledge and skills in various subjects relevant to their academic studies.

2.) Promotion of Volunteerism and Participation in the Wikimedia Movement: Additionally, we seek to foster a culture of volunteerism and participation in the Wikimedia movement among the youth in the Suleja Axis. By engaging teens in activities that involve exploring and contributing to educational content, we aim to inspire them to become active participants in the creation and dissemination of knowledge on Wikimedia platforms. Through their involvement in the project, we hope to cultivate a sense of ownership and pride in contributing to the broader goals of the Wikimedia movement.

Challenges and Problems: Some of the main challenges and problems we are seeking to address include:

1.)   Limited Access to Educational Resources: Many teens in the Suleja Axis lack access to comprehensive educational resources that can supplement their learning and enhance their understanding of high school education topics. This limited access can hinder their academic progress and limit their opportunities for personal and intellectual growth.

2.) Underrepresentation in the Wikimedia Movement: There is a lack of representation and participation from the Suleja Axis community in the Wikimedia movement. This underrepresentation prevents the community from fully benefiting from the wealth of knowledge and resources available on Wikimedia platforms and hinders their ability to contribute to the creation and dissemination of knowledge.

Main Approaches to Achieve Change: To address these challenges and achieve our goals, we will implement the following approaches:

1.) Education and Awareness: We will raise awareness about the importance of access to educational resources and the benefits of participation in the Wikimedia movement among teens in the Suleja Axis community. Through information sessions, workshops, and outreach activities, we will educate students about the value of utilizing resources like an encyclopedia and encourage them to get involved in the Wikimedia movement.

2.) Capacity Building: We will provide training and support to teens to develop their skills in accessing, evaluating, and contributing to educational content on Wikimedia platforms. Through hands-on activities, mentorship, and guidance, we will empower students to become confident and capable contributors to the Wikimedia movement.

3.) Community Engagement: We will engage with schools, youth organizations, and community leaders to build partnerships and foster a supportive environment for participation in the Wikimedia movement. By collaborating with local stakeholders, we can amplify our impact and reach a broader audience of teens in the Suleja Axis community.

4.) Celebration and Recognition: We will celebrate and recognize the contributions of students who actively participate in the project and demonstrate a commitment to the goals of the Wikimedia movement. 1.) Orientation Sessions: Organize orientation sessions to introduce participants to the project, its goals, and the planned activities.

2.) Wikipedia Introduction Workshops: Conduct workshops to familiarize participants with Wikipedia and its features, including search functionalities and navigation. Invite guest speakers, such as educators, subject matter experts, and Wikimedia volunteers, to share their knowledge and experiences with participants. Conduct hands-on editing workshops where participants learn how to contribute to Wikimedia projects by editing articles, adding citations, and improving content.

3.)   Subject-Specific Reading Sessions: Host reading sessions focused on specific high school education topics, where participants read and discuss relevant articles from the encyclopedia.

4.) Research Projects and Interactive Discussions: Assign research projects to participants, tasking them with exploring specific topics of interest using the encyclopedia as a primary resource. Facilitate interactive discussions where participants can share their insights, ask questions, and engage in critical analysis of encyclopedia articles.

The target participants for this project are teens residing in the Suleja Axis of Nigeria. Specifically, the project aims to engage high school students aged 13 to 18 who are seeking to enhance their knowledge and understanding of various subjects relevant to their academic studies. The community targeted includes schools, youth centers, and other educational institutions in the Suleja Axis.

Engagement Before Activities:

   Outreach and Promotion: Engage with schools, youth organizations, and community leaders to raise awareness about the project and its objectives. Utilize various communication channels, including social media, posters, flyers, and word-of-mouth, to reach potential participants.
   Information Sessions: Organize information sessions or orientation meetings for interested participants and their parents/guardians. Provide details about the project, including its goals, activities, and benefits, and address any questions or concerns raised.

Engagement During Activities:
