The creation of Wikipedia and its sister awareness project in Plateau State is aimed at establishing a strong motivation to accept and use Wikimedia materials among the youth especially students in tertiary institutions in plateau State.
This is in addition to exposing and assisting them to acquire a wealth of digital technology and research to enable them to contribute significantly to articles that will further the development of plateau State through multi-pronged development, as well as the transfer of knowledge and skills learned to contribute. content with original images for Wikipedia.

I participated in several Wikimedia Programs in Kaduna and Kano, Hamza DK, a Wikipedia contributor and editor of Wiktionary, he organized the Wikipedia forum and facilitates and participates in many Wikimedia projects. M Bash is an experienced Wikimedia editor and has experience in editing content. He has organized and been a moderator in many Wikimedia events. Gwanki, a professional Wikimedian, has organized several Wikimedia projects in Northern Nigeria. He's manager at Hausa Wikipedia And two of the people of Plateau state, Sarki malam and Anas Garba these people will help to organize trips in Plateau state.

The content of the program will focus on filling the information gap by updating existing stories and creating new Articles about people, places and organizations in plateau state, and writing them on Wikipedia in Hausa, through improve the accuracy of knowledge in accordance with the Wikimedia strategy. a move because it will further invest resources in Wikimedia's underrepresented communities around the world.

This proposal is targeted at the diverse students (youth) community in plateau State.
We hope to engage these participants before the project implementation through the students' union of various institutions and Plateau Youth Representative at the federal level. The call for participation will be done through effective local communication channels which the students belong to using E-posters, and banners to promote the program on social media platforms. All Participants will be sent an online form to get their data and for registration.
During the project, I and my team member will be actively involved in facilitating the training and also making sure that the participants get the act and art of contributing to Wikipedia and sister projects; how to edit Wikipedia, Wikidata, Wiktionary and Wikicommons.
Also, the training is set to have 2 physical and online training/ edithatons to ensure that editors are properly guided on how to bridge the knowledge and content gap across various Wikimedia projects.
To ensure the sustainability of the project, After the events, participants will join as members in the Wikimedia community, this will keep them updated and encourage participation during wiki events. Participants will be added to the existing messaging channel for follow-up, updates, questions, etc. These participants would also be invited to future events.

The space-friendly policy of Wikimedia content will be summarized and read at the beginning of each event to remind participants and organizers of the importance of the space policy.
