1. What is the change that you are trying to bring about and why is this important.

Education is a general tool used in claiming right.As we have realised the exclusion of women due to gender inequality denied them the oppoturnity to develop their potentials and they will play pivotal roles in advancement of education.To ensure the elimination of gender inequality, building a knowledgeable society especially through campaigns and awareness through internet especially using the wikimedia since it serves as a general problem solver to languages as its gives oppoturnity to almost all languages across the globe.Communication gap between people in terms of understanding english language compared to their local languages, Hausa wikimedia in this regards will aid and make it easier to create support interms of giving equal oppoturnity to female especially Housewives,spinsters as they can contributes alot in creating of articles, editing so as to actualized wikipedia motion of advancing education in nigeria and across the globe.

Due to rapid global use of internet, through wikimedia campaigns and awareness, social media, gender equality can be achieved through use of native languages.It is well known that english language is not common and fully understood by the locals as people understand more of their own language, so wikimedia will aid in bridging the language gap and stop the discripances of gender inequality.

3. What are the activities you will be developing and delivering as part of these approaches or strategies?

I will use social media, advertistment,banners, enlightment of folks about wikimedia equal oppoturnities for both genders (Male and Female) that they can equally contribute by reading,creating and editing articles in their own native languages.

The proposed project will adequately help in creating equal oppoturnities and chances which will ensure easy development and understanding of hausa language for womens who do not understand it. By such easy understanding of hausa will be achieved and the gender inequalities in the hausa domains will be minimized since articles of english language which talks about "Gender Equality" will be understood fully without any hindrances.

The targetted participate are Hausa community, we have created local Watsup's and Telegram groups with tutorials on Gender Equality and how to understand the real meaning of gender Equality as mis-led due to the English knowledge gap within their domains as they understand Hausa more than the english language.

We will adequately abide by Universal Code of Conduct (UCOC) and friendly space policy of Wikimedia Foundation.
