Our recent activities help us in realizing the power of long-term activities because it open a new chapter within our small community by enabling our members to make effective contributions that is noticeable across Wikimedia projects. Previously, in the year 2022, we only run a month long activities or 40 days maximum. While in 2023, we begin to grow our impacts beginning with 2 month long, 3 months long and even achieved a successful execution of a project of six different trainings in 4 months this year leading to the creation of our four new hubs/fan clubs. This is of course a long but a successful journey that led to having so much experiences and a demonstration of the team's determination.

One of the crucial changes identified is the growing number of new articles created this year which can be attributed to the participants having the chance to be reimbursed for a longer period of time than usual which enable them to keep the spirit high and as such, this helps us in furthering the community members engagement and building on the success of previous years. After careful observation and discussion, we learned that lack of data to access the internet, activity or project to work on, communications gap are some of the problems that a long term plan activities can solve effortlessly. So, with the experiences we have, we believe we can make this plan activities a great success.

We therefore, seek to maximize our community engagement, build a strong sense of connection between them and Wikimedia projects, offer them the needed support and gather our strengths to make effective contributions to Wikimedia projects.

We plan to host a total of 8 editathons/trainings with 3 weeks intervals between each training and the next, i.e, after every one training there would be three weeks of contributions and engagement from the facilitators before we would host another training, the same goes to the subsequent trainings up to the last one.

Since our sole aim is community mobilization, members enrichment and participants engagement acceleration, we planned to make this activities an effort to boost the morale of everyone within and outside the community. Hence, the training would be hosted in 3 out of the six states of north eastern Nigeria which are the places were our hubs/fan clubs situated, namely; Bajoga - Gombe, Potiskum - Yobe, Gamawa - Bauchi.
