Funtua Wikimedians Group and Wikimedians User Group Kafur In WhatsApp.

1. What is the change that you are trying to bring about and why is this important.

We have a great challenge as Wikipedia editors but don't know how to contribute in other wiki , although some of us attended wikidata workshop but majority don't know how to edit wikidata,With this proposal most of our less experience editor will know how to contribute in wikidata and other projects sisters.

2. Describe your main approaches or strategies to achieve these changes and why you think they will be effective.

In this workshop we will invite two experience editor from Hausa Wikipedia User group to teach we the less experience editor how to contribute in wikidata cos most of us only edit and write only in Wikipedia but don't know how to contribute in other wiki projects sisters.

3. What are the activities you will be developing and delivering as part of these approaches or strategies?

We will make an announcement in our user group, WhatsApp User Group and also in our Facebook page about the wikidata event for those that have interest in learning how to contribute in wikidata.

  1. Yes Em-Mustafa From Kaduna state is one of the co-founder of Hausa wikimedia User Group experience editor and also an admin Will lead wikidata event in Kafur while
  2. Gwanki From Kano state will lead the workshop in Funtua. This two experience editor will teach us how to contribute in wikidata.

There are many articles that need to be created,but absence of data will lead to invalidate the article but if we can create a data of any culture background or geography of an area I think the article can be valid.

The majority of the participants are already in Hausa Wikimedians User Group on WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook page.so with above mentioned before and after the proposal we will continue possible a tutorial video to retain the participants.

We will make sure that the participants are in peaceful atmosphere. A calm and noiseless have for the participants.while a good accommodation to projects leaders.

We will publish about this project in our social media page and other wiki group i.e The Wikimedia user group Nigeria,Hausa Wikimedians User Group, Let's connect Hausa. Community and our Facebook page and so on.
