1. What is the change that you are trying to bring about and why is this important.

Wikidata est un projet Wikimedia qui existe déjà depuis 10 ans. Chaque année, les contributeurs du monde entier célèbrent son anniversaire, à travers des activités bien diversifiés. Cette année, ce sera la toute première fois que le Bénin va se joindre à cet événement pour ne pas rester en marge. Une très belle occasion pour intensifier nos activités sur Wikidata, riche d'une base de données dont de nombreuses entités béninoises en sont absentes ou incomplètes. Par exemple, une requête SPARQL sur les écoles renvoie à une centaine d'entités sur tout le Bénin. Or, le pays dispose de milliers d'écoles reparties sur toute l'étendu du territoire nationale. Il devient très important de mener des contributions aussi quantitatives que qualitative. C'est un nouveau défi pour nous à relever.

2. Describe your main approaches or strategies to achieve these changes and why you think they will be effective.

Cette célébration au Bénin est axée essentiellement sur des ateliers de formation, des editathon et une compétition pour récompenser les meilleurs contributeurs. À cet effet, nous allons recruter de nouveaux contributeurs, renforcer les capacités d'anciens contributeurs. En ce qui concerne les anciens contributeurs, nous en avons qui ont déjà bénéficié d'une introduction à wikidata durant les campagnes et activités passées, dont les plus récents sont participants aux campagnes et ateliers tels que : Wiki For Human rights 2022, Mois de la contribution francophone 2022, Weekend wikidata, Wiki Loves for Africa 2022, Wiki Loves Folklore 2022, Wiki Loves for Earth 2022, WPWP 2022. S'appuyer sur cette stratégie basée sur cette base de donnée à exploiter permettra à coup sûr d'accroître l'effectif des contributeurs autour du projet wikidata etant donné qu'ils sont déjà initié aux autres projets frères tels que commons et wikipédia.

Célébration du 10e anniversaire de wikidata Ateliers de formation en présentiel pour les personnes les plus proches Ateliers de formation en ligne pour ceux qui sont à l'intérieur du pays ainsi que ceux qui ne peuvent effectuer le déplacement. Faire des ateliers en ligne va permettre de solliciter d'autres experts wikidata pour un renforcement de capacité et une formation niveau avancés. Editathon: Cela nous permettra de faire de la création d'entité de masse de façon aussi quantitative que qualitatives. Concours : Pour récompenser jusqu'à 4 meilleurs contributeurs afin de motiver davantage les contributeurs bénévoles

L'environment de travail durant et après sera toujours basé sur le code de conduite universel. So, according to the Ucoc, this project as in all Wikimedia projects, spaces and events, behaviour will be run in respect, civility, collegiality, solidarity and good citizenship. In add, during this contest, the code will be applied to all contributors and participants in their interaction with all contributors and participants, without any exception.
