Overview sign language in Indonesia: There are various sign languages in Indonesia, the one officially recognized by the state is SIBI, but the one widely used by the public is BISINDO. Apart from that, each region also has its unique use of sign language, adapting BISINDO to its regional components.

Problem: 1. Majority of people among the sign language community does not aware of the difference in local dialects of the sign language from each region and local community 2. There is still no documentation regarding sign language variations from regions in Indonesia. Translation between SIBI and BISINDO, or between regional sign languages, can lead to misunderstandings due to differences in structure and vocabulary. 3. Differences in sign languages can create barriers for the deaf community to access information, such as news, education, and healthcare services.

Changes: We try to improve and enrich sign language phrase content from different regions in Indonesia, especially language from Jakarta, Yogja, Malang, North Sumatra, and Pamekasan for example project in the other area. We will do these changes: 1. Develop an online sign language dictionary that connects words with BISINDO signs to aid users in information retrieval. 2. Create video tutorials in BISINDO to help users understand how to use Wikimedia platforms. 3. Partner with deaf organizations to raise awareness about Wikimedia and promote deaf community participation in Wikimedia projects, and support documentation of local sign languages and deaf culture through Wikimedia projects like Wikimedia Commons and Wikidata.

Approaches: We plan to document 100 sign language phrases from 5 different regions with a target of 20 phrases from each region and attach interpretations media to the related Wikipedia articles.

Output: Our output will be photos, poster, videos and uploaded in Wiki Commons and Wikidata, and attached media to the related Wikipedia articles.
